Tennis and Castro

Friday I went with a friend to a pre-Wimbleton tennis competition. Learned something about the game and saw Nike’s new Tiger Woods in action. Forgot the French kid’s name, but he’s supposed to be the first black male player, he just moved up from the under-18 league where he won the championship last year. And he’s got a great presence, personality in his play. His older opponent (who won in overtime) played more technically, but our man won the crowd’s hearts.

Went out with a group for dinner at a Cuban Revolution-themed restaurant/bar. Service and food left something to be desired, but the Mojitos were 1st rate. Hit up some club near Embankment Station and crawled onto a Southbank sofa slightly after 2am.

(Ask me sometime about the RESPECT music short-film I want to do:)
