Davis could then appoint Bustamonte to Lt. Gov. and everything would be
the same as in the beginning. Nevermind whether that’s either possible or

should be avoided.
Our operatives in SoCal have come up with some angles that are apparently
recieving good reviews. Among these is that the selection of Camejo would
be a clean break from the federal parties: it would be a clear message to
D.C. to shape up NOW. There’s also the recognition that the people who
have to verify the 1 million recall signatures were appointed by Gray
Davis, so some schenanigans aren’t out of the question.
