Enter the Jackrabbit, Prologue

Enter the Jackrabbit is a subset of the Viper Pit series.
It was written during the 1998 congressional campaigns over the course of
a few days and has been split up to accomodate the web.

Jack Rabbit’s Taile, Prologue

Four Puerto Ricans, one Bahaman, one naturalized Vietnamese, one
Jerseyite, and a Canadian in combat boots drove XXX miles to campaign for
a democratic candidate in a conservative district. Go to bed at four, wake
up at 6:30. So many conclusions to be drawn. Dedication or stupidity?
Curiosity? Do I have proof that enough monkeys on typewriters could write
Shakespeare? Does this say something about the dedication of Americans to
democracy vs. others? Everyone’s a grad student but me – is the youth
political movement completely dea d?

Fuck it. I’m going to bed.
– 3:47 a.m. 10/31/98

Editor’s Note: I don’t know what that part about monkeys is all about.
It made sense at the time, but I didn’t have the energy to write it
out. It was transcribed from the Black Book.
