Hunter S. Thompson, the good doctor of Gonzon journalism, has issued his endorsement of John Kerry, a candidate it will be fun to vote for. If Richard Nixon, who Thompson called Hitler in 1972, were running against George W. Bush, the Doctor would happily vote for him. \u201cIf Nixon
\nwere running for president today, he would be seen as a \u2018liberal\u2019 candidate, and he would probably win. He was a crook and a bungler, but what the hell? Nixon was a barrel of laughs compared to this gang of thugs\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
