It&#8217;s a cool little tool I can probably pull a project out of it after I dust off my <em>Intro to GIS<\/em> notes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.patswrapper.com\/GIS\/index.php\">giMapper<\/a>: The geographical information web Mapper [was] developed as an alternative to the well established open source project MapServer&#8230; The project started to use MapServer but it soon became evident that to use MapServer in the final application would require access to the server&#8217;s root for installation and configuration &#8211; something we did not have&#8230; giMapper is a standalone application&#8230; and can be installed and configured  entirely using FTP. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just installed the First GIS Application on OpenDNA.
